Elev8Hope Queen of Hearts Raffle (“Raffle”) OFFICIAL RULES

OFFICIAL RULES: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Elev8Hope, which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to each Raffle. Official Rules are posted online at www.elev8hope.org.  The Official Rules should be read before ticket purchase.

SPONSOR: The sponsor of the Raffle is Elev8Hope, a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. The address at which Elev8Hope may be contacted is: Elev8Hope, 3700 SE Salerno Road, Stuart, Florida 34997. The Raffle is being conducted pursuant to a Management Services Agreement by and between Bump Worldwide, Inc., an Ontario, Canada corporation with an office address of 600 Long Wharf Drive, New Haven, Connecticut 06511. This Raffle is conducted pursuant to all applicable federal, state, provincial and state laws, statutes, rules and regulations, including, but not limited to, applicable governmental rules or guidelines in connection with this Raffle.

RAFFLE PERIOD; HOW TO ENTER: Elev8Hope will conduct the Raffle every Wednesday, from November 25, 2020 until a participant draws the Queen of Hearts from a virtual envelope pursuant to the drawing procedures set forth below (“Raffle Period”).  The Raffle Period may last up to fifty-two (52) weeks.  During the Raffle Period, Raffle tickets will be sold online as follows:

Visit www.elev8hope.org (the “Website”) and follow the directions to purchase a Raffle Ticket.  Internet sales of Raffle tickets are only open to legal residents of the state of Florida.  Entrants purchasing Raffle Tickets online must fully complete their purchase using the procedures specified and verify they live in the state of Florida.  All online ticket purchase requests are subject to verification by Elev8Hope, and no sale is final until the ticket purchase order is accepted by Elev8Hope in Stuart, Florida.

Ticket sales for the first Weekly Drawing (defined below) will begin at the commencement of the Raffle Period.  Ticket sales for subsequent Weekly Drawings, if any, will be begin at or around 10:30 a.m. EST following the prior week’s Weekly Drawing.   Ticket sales for each Weekly Drawing will conclude at or around 5:00 p.m. EST on each Wednesday during the Raffle Period.  Entries not selected in a Weekly Drawing will not carry over into subsequent Weekly Drawings, if any. 

ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER: While available, Raffle tickets may be purchased only by persons 18 years or older in accordance with these Official Rules.

The following persons are NOT ELIGIBLE to participate in the Raffle or to win any prize: Paid employees, officers, and directors of Elev8Hope. 

PURCHASING RAFFLE TICKETS: Raffle tickets will be sold in packages as described below. There is no limit to the number of Raffle tickets an eligible individual may purchase. 

Six (6) Raffle tickets for a total price for $5.

No discounts will be given. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase online by eligible persons (see “ELIGIBILITY TO ENTER” above).

At the time of purchase, each entrant will select a single virtual envelope number from the remaining unopened virtual envelopes.  This envelope number will be associated with all tickets purchased in the ticket package.  It is not possible to select multiple envelope numbers within a single ticket order. Each envelope corresponds to a single hidden playing card from a standard 52 card deck.  The initial number of envelopes available for selection is 52, and the number of envelopes available for selection will decline by one each week if the envelope selected by the weekly drawing winner reveals a playing card other than the Queen of Hearts. 

 Tickets will be delivered by email only.  It is the responsibility of the ticket purchaser to ensure that he or she receives his or her tickets.  Purchasers do not need to have their tickets in hand to win.  In the event a purchaser does not receive his or her purchased tickets, such purchaser should contact Elev8Hope at QOHELEV8HOPE@yahoo.com.

No contribution is necessary to enter or to win. You may obtain a Ticket without making a contribution.  

NUMBER OF RAFFLE TICKETS: There is no minimum and no maximum number of tickets that must be sold.

ODDS: The odds of winning a prize depends on the number of valid tickets sold during the week preceding the Weekly Drawing.

WEEKLY DRAWINGS:  Each Wednesday during the Raffle Period, at approximately 6:00 p.m. EST, a single ticket number will be selected by random number generation from all tickets sold since the prior week’s Weekly Drawing.  The drawing will be conducted electronically at Elev8Hope, 3700 SE Salerno Road, Stuart, Fl, 34997.  Entrants need not be present at the Weekly Drawing to win.

All net proceeds of the Raffle will benefit Elev8Hope and the programs and charitable organizations that Elev8Hope supports. 

Elev8Hope will use reasonable efforts, in its sole discretion, to notify prize winners of their selection using the contact information provided with ticket purchase, and will post the winning ticket number online at www.elev8hope.org.  Elev8Hope will also post the playing card revealed after the conclusion of the Weekly Drawing at Facebook.com/Elev8Hope.

Subject to the terms and conditions of these Official Rules, the Grand Prize winner will receive a check in the amount of the prize, net of any withholding or other taxes or assessments required or permitted to be withheld by Elev8Hope under applicable federal, state or local laws, rules or regulations, that will be mailed within forty-five (45) days after the date of the Grand Prize winner’s selection, after Elev8Hope has verified the winning Raffle ticket and prize winner has satisfied all terms and conditions of these Official Rules, including return of all forms and documents to Elev8Hope (Elev8Hope may be required to withhold federal taxes in accordance
